About Us

Terry Graff

More than 20 years ago, the Social Security Administration (SSA) found Terry disabled. He had to hire an attorney to obtain his benefits just as you are now considering. He even had to sell all his belongings to survive, including his beloved guitar.

In order to improve his circumstances, Terry decided to attend law school. His first year at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, MN was difficult because he was undergoing aphaeresis, which is similar to dialysis, 2 - 3 times a week before attending classes. Terry was forced to leave school after 1 year because his conditions had become so debilitating. Following his time off, he transferred to the University of North Dakota School of Law. This was a difficult and stressful time, but he persevered and graduated in 1994.

Terry's first position after graduation was with Options Resource Center for Independent Living, a private non-profit organization dedicated to helping people with disabilities live as independently as possible in the community of their choice.

In 1997, Terry started Graff Law Office and incorporated the business in 1999. With his experiences and background, he has always had a passion for working with people with disabilities and naturally worked to develop his practice in the area of Social Security Disability. Since then, Terry has helped hundreds of people with their cases.

Terry Graff of Graff Law Office Incorporated has a strong background and interest in Social Security disability benefits. He has served the Fargo, ND and Moorhead, MN communities since 1997

Paula also knows what it is like to 'walk in her clients' shoes'. She was recognized as disabled and knows the frustrations that the process imposes on a person, their family and finances. Despite these struggles, she learned to maneuver through the public benefits system.

As a single mother going back to college, Paula qualified for Pell Grants and Student Loans, however they were counted against her as income. As an advocate, she worked with local legislators for two years on a Political Science project that helped to revise the way public benefits counted grants and loans.

Paula continued to work extremely hard, and graduated with an Associates Degree from Dickinson State University and has a Bachelors Degree in the Paralegal Program from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

In the following years, she interned and worked at Legal Assistance of North Dakota, where she earned the Advocacy Award for her work in public benefits, social security disability, family law, elderly law and guardianship accounting for the Court. She also worked at Northwest Minnesota Legal Services and the North Dakota Fair Housing Council, doing Fair Housing education activities, Fair Housing Enforcement and preparing violations for trial with attorneys, and testing.

Since 2001, Paula has worked for Graff Law Office Incorporated as a paralegal. Her background and experiences can truly help you obtain the assistance you need to survive during this difficult time.
